Rue,

If you need a measurement, I'd be happy to do it. The car is pretty much gutted. Unfortunately, with no engine, transmission, glass or interior, it hits the ceiling when it's up on the lift so I have to keep a couple of bumpers and scrap metal in it to lower the suspension.

My upper glass was mostly held in place with calk, there were 2 small (rusted) metal clips that help hold the glass in place.

The car is going to the body shop next week for a new floor. So if you need a measurement, it will have to be in the next 7 days. Let me know.

I got to ride in a friends restored Handyman the other day. It rides, as you would expect, like a station wagon. I like sports cars and now that the body is off to the body shop getting a new floor, I thought I'd start making some big upgrades. First up is the suspension. The front and rear are from a 1995 C4 that was totalled in an engine fire. As you can see from the last picture the front is semi-disassembled on the garage floor. I'm armed with a case of degreaser, a couple of pounds of steel wool and many wire brushes so it's time to get to work.

Wow.... She's gonna be a little "peppy" lol...

Very interested to follow along on this one...

You planning on setting it down pretty low with that vette rear?

I should check in more often but I've been to busy building to post much. Yes, I'll being lowering it a couple of inches.

Here's the build plan:
Nerd Rods frame with Corvette C4 suspension
Gen V (CTS V) LT4 engine
Dual Disc clutch
T56
Power steering
Hydroboost brakes (Vacuum booster is out since it's supercharged) I hear that a Chevy Astro hydroboost works well. Is that true?
Vintage air Heat/AC
17 inch wheels
Infinity box Can bus for wiring
Dakota Digital for the dash
Exhaust - Ultimate headers with flowmaster mufflers
Cooling? Does anyone have any recommendations for a good cooling system?
Any suggestions for a hydraulic clutch master and clutch pedal assembly?

Here's some before and after shots of a spindle that I took during the suspension cleanup.

As usual I'm behind in posting updates but here's the Nerd Rods frame.
