This is the previous version of the car. Late 70's 350 punched out to a 355. Tuned port fuel injection. Tremec TKO 500 Five speed. Heidts (one inch narrower), tubular control arms, drop spindles, coil-over shocks and a NASCAR heavy duty anti-sway bar in front. Flaming River Rack & Pinion. Narrowed Ford Nine-inch posie rear end with spring pocket kit installed in rear. Wilwood 12 inch disc brakes at all four corners.
Also a custom fabricated dash with Auto Meter gauges. Wipers, ignition, lights and accessory plug, stereo, heat & A/C Controls all hidden in the over-sized glove compartment. Completely rewired the car from bumper to bumper with painless wiring harness. Motorcycle tri-bar headlights with Piaa H4 bulbs. Carriage Works black powder coated grille.
The car was a super-nice driver. But....I still wanted more......(sigh).....
In September 2018, the car went into the body shop for a long awaited resto-mod.
Schwartz Performance frame & suspension. GM LS3/495 HP Crate motor. Completion date is Spring 2020.
