Will I ever get this thing done. installing an LS1 from a 98 Z28 and doing a full off frame resto. hopefully this will be done before I retire in 20 years or so. This was a typical Indiana car rust everywhere. any comments or suggestions are always welcome. (You can't hurt my feelings because I don't have any just ask my girlfriend.)haha

Hey 12pack, don't you give up, thats going to be the best part. When you get finished and look back at those pictures. Not everyone can do what you are doing. My uncle has been working on his 57 for a while. He used to say "I'll get it done if I don't go broke or die first". He's about done now. It seems like a car looks ruff forever, then all of the sudden the hard part is done, These old cars are a good investment, I think. If anyone says anything bad about your car, they're just jealous! And about your feelings, I'm married and ai'nt nobody can hurt my feelings. Keep up the good work, you'll get there. Roy

dont worry about a time line, I just got my 57 that I've been wanting to get now for close to 20 years. Also my father in law took 16 years to finish his 32 5 window & another 6-7 years to finish his 57 Olds. I'm hoping to have my 57 done in about 5-6 years, sooner if the buget(wife) allows LOL
