Just completed a total rebuild of the front and rear supension and steering. I decided to stay with manual steering and am glad I did. With a new steering box, all new steering linkage components, suspension rebuild and the addition of front and rear sway bars, the car really drives nice. Brakes are 70 Chevelle disks in front and stock drum in back--dual master cylinder resevior with no power booster.
My goal has been to make this car drive like the 55 I had well over 30 years in high school, so I'm pretty much staying old school.
Next to come is a new engine to replace the tired 327. Suggestions on the new engine are always welcome.
