General Information

Year
1955
Make
Chevy
Model
Belair 2 door sedan
This is my 55 that I did a ground up restoration/modification on. I bought it as a basket case (no over statement there). It was so far apart that the frame was sitting beside it and everything that was held on with bolts was off. Body shell was sitting on 4X4's with wheels. The front clip was gone completely. The only part of the body that is original is the roof, cowl and left quarter panel. Everything else was from donor cars from all over the country.
This car was taken apart over 25 years ago and then changed owners at least 5 times before I got it. Each time it was sold/traded, less was there.

jp, this is sad and I should keep it to myself. But I gave a 56 265 away last spring that had a 270 cam and 57 283 pp heads. Sorry.

Steven, I have come to believe a person can make one 'too clean'. Much easier to drive one that doesn't require 8 hours of cleaning afterwards. Keep the faith.
