First off, the wagon is not mine, I'm working on it for Dana (Butters55s). A work in progress, and here's some pictures of some fabrication I've had to do along the way. The day job finds me behind a computer doing mechanical design work, and after hours, working on the 55 or other things that find their way into the shop. We also were able to work with Steele Rubber in getting an obsolete piece, the window divider rubber trim, reproduced and on the market for the 55-57 2 door wagons. PN 70-2661-62, a set of 4 runs $22, call Steele Rubber to get yours today!

Thanks for all of the useful info. Your diagrams, i.e. drip rail cross section view and rocker cross view have help me a great deal...my car is so rusted that all I have to work with now is a trunk and two rear quarters! I will post pics soon!

A bad experience with a body repair man almost ruined this hobby for me. Guys like you and 57rustbucket have inspired me to get back in the garage and give it a go "DIY style" this time around. Keep doin' what you do, youre helpin a lot of folk out here in tri five land.

After installing new quarters and door skins, I have a 3/16' bulge on the quarter out past the door edge. Any suggestions? I can send pics if you have time to look. Tkx, John
