I bought this car in 1986 from my brother inlaw. It was in pieces then and it's in pieces now. I finaly reached a point in my life where I have the time and a little money to get going on this project.
The body has some of the usual rust. I'll be doing the toeboards, floors, rockers, and the trunk. I had some other body repairs done a few years ago some of which is good and some I will be redoing. The right quarter panel is being replaced. It was covered in Bondo and really rough due to being hit at some time. I had a new quarter installed by a bodyman but I've cut most of it loose again to do it right.
I pulled the body off the frame at the end of August (2010). The frame is done except for installing the transmission cross member and motor mounts.
