My mother-in-law bought this car for my wife in june 1973 from an older gentleman here in town, he was about 81 when they got the car, it was a one owner, six cylinder three on the column. we restored it in 1989 with most everything new and a 305ho and 350 turbo, but I did not take it off the frame, so this time I thought we would go thru the whole car, there has been LOTS of talk about her car, but in janurary of this year she said I could give it away, she didn't want to spend any money on it, but I had been wanting to make a two door sedan out of it, so she finally gave in... I cut the post for the rear door out and a little of the rear quarter and set the new parts on my orginal rocker and butt welded it the the orginal quarter at the rear door. Can't wait to get red and white paint on it... this car was built in atlanta georgia and was built with a one piece frame, now has a late model LT1, 700r4 trans, power rack steering, hotrod air, power brakes, american auto meter wiring..
