General Information

I have owned this car for just about 25 years. I built it in the early 80's and have used it quite a bit during the summers through the years. When my kids were small I used it to pull a camper and go to the lake. When I got it, it was pretty rough but wasn't a real rust bucket, I had 3 parts cars and used the best parts they had. Everything on the car was done by me, paint, body and mechanical with exception of the interior and I am very proud of how it has held up through the years.
The engine is a 350 with a 350 tranny. It has PS,PB, tilt, headers, high rise. It is very realiable and still could go anywhere.
I have taken it to the local drag strip for fun and it did respectively for a driver. (14's and mid 90's) It has a stock diff (non posi) that I completly went through when I built the car and it is still hanging in there.
This year now that the kids are gone,(wife too), I am in the process of changing the drive train. I have a new .30 over 350 4 bolt main with Edelbrock 8099 64 cc heads and a healthy Comp cam and a Edelbrock Airgap Intake with a 600 CFM carb, a new 700R transmission with stage 2 prep.

I now have a rear end for the car. It's a CHEVY 8.5 inch out off a 1974 Nova. A new Eaton Posi and new 3.73 gears.
The engine and tranny are in and running now and sound and work great (20 MGP).
