Frank Botte told me how to use the original capillary. 1955 V8s enter the temp sensor at the rear of the intake manifold. Frank said just drill and thread a hole in the left rear waterjacket area of the intake manifold. Thats what I did on my Edelbrock RPM manifold and it works great. I just had to grind the reinforcement "wall" slightly to be able to thread in the pipe nipple.
