Need some help/advice with my 57! I have 20x10 wheels in the back, wrapped with 275s. I had to use wheels spacers to keep me clear of the rear fenders and the leaf springs, ended up working fine with no issues. Last night I installed 3" lowering blocks under the rear leafs. Upon initial...

Hey folks, I have a restomod 1959 Chevy Impala that I acquired from Belton, Missouri in July. Everything is going as planned but I like to stay ahead of the momentum. I have been looking into tires and wheels and too much unfamiliar information has presented itself. What I have in mind is 15"...

So - I want 15" Cragar SS wheels on my 1956 150 Sedan. Rear is stock, with power front disc mod. I have dug through dozens of posts on tires and wheels, and took all the measurements and used the wheel/tire calculator, but I'm still a bit confused. And the local wheel shops are all but worthless...

The passenger front tire on my ‘57 Belair has developed a lump. At low speed, the steering wheel wobbles embarrassingly from it. I need to replace one, raised white letter tire, which most likely means I need to replace two tires; possibly all four. The tires are 70 series, if I’m replacing...

If you have a stock rear with no body modification what's the widest rim I can put on a 1955 Chevy Bel Air Sedan? I was going to roll the gender lip for a little more clearance. I would love to drop some 15x10's on it. Any advice on what can be put on or what mods need to be done to make it...

Any experience out there with these? I'm far enough along to begin considering new tires on my '56 restoration project, and I want the stock ww look, with modern safety and convenience. They're available from both Coker and Diamond (I think), but at $250 apiece, I'm hoping someone has already...

I recently added two inch drop spindles and front disc brakes to my 56. The offset is said to be 5/16" on each side. I'd like to now add 17 inch wheels. I think I will go with 7 inch wide rims, as I'm retaining the manual steering and don't want to make it any harder to turn the wheel, as...

First of all, great forum! I have done several searches that have helped me with my 57’s alternator conversion, halogen headlamp conversion, disc brake conversion and my soon to happen 700R4 conversion. This is my first time posting and I thought I would see if I could tap into everyone’s...

Had a buyer come up from Texas yesterday and take away my 50 coupe. It was bittersweet, hate to see it go but it freed up some funds for the 57. Suspension and wheels are gonna get ordered this week. Gonna go with Boss 338 18/20 for the wheels. Probably 255/35/20 and 235/40/18 for the rubber...

So, got my new Goodyear Eagle GT tires in and mounted today. 225 / 40 / 18 in front and 245 / 30 /20 out back. Everything fits great, no rubbing, looks great. Unfortunately one of my wheel studs was broken in the process by the tire shop, so I gotta get that fixed tomorrow. I'm thinking that...
