I am pretty sure he was talking about the front mounts. They are easy to make. they wont be factory but they will be stronger than factory.Sparky....The shackles are available at most of the usual aftermarket suppliers for about $30 each....Or you can put an ad in the wanted section of the classifieds here at the site....Please support our sponsers, if you go that route.

I assume, that when you say the spring attaches to the brkt you are talking the front spring brkt. I think I still have a set that I cut off. I'll check. in the interim, if this isnt it, let me know.Hello to all. I've been looking for a new or used set of leaf spring brackets(the ones that attach to the frame) and can't seem to find any out there on the web. My 55 came off the drag strip and alot of things has been choped or moved and the brackets are one of those things. I've owed the car for over 20 years. I'm trying to get the fame done so I can get the body setting back on it. It will feel more like a car and hopefully get me motivated to get started on the body. I would like to get the car completed before my son starts driving (he's 9). LOL
I need the brackets that comes from the frame and mounts the front of the leaf springs and back brackets that come off the frame that mounts the (shackles) rear of the leaf springs. I not sure if brackets or mounts is the right trem?I assume, that when you say the spring attaches to the brkt you are talking the front spring brkt. I think I still have a set that I cut off. I'll check. in the interim, if this isnt it, let me know.
