Hi,

I just bought the book "1955 passenger factory assembly manual" a new one at amazon.com
It's a very good book with a lot of pictures and detailes.
But there is nothing about front or back seat mounting and nothing about assembling of the doors and some other cases too.
Is this suppose to be right og is it just missing in my book.

Thanks
Steinar

The body was assembled at a Fisher body plant. The assembly manual does not cover any anything done at the body plant. It covers everything else.

There is no Fisher body manual for 55-57s, though there was such a thing for 60s cars. There are some trim manuals and other bulletins on specific subjects. Look in the library section on this site, oldcarmanual.com, or google what you're looking for.

The shop manual has sections on servicing the body, trim, and windows. You need one of those too.
