Hi I have buy a Chevy 1956 with rear spring pocket kit and rear shock relocarion kit,the kit is mounted on the car by the erlier owner. And there is a 9" currie rear end too.My cuestion is how wide rims and tires do you Think i can have? there is lots of space out to the fender there is 225 rims on the car now looks very silly.

It all depends on the body. Have the inner wheel tubs been modified (widened) or are they original? More info (photos?) is needed.

With the springs moved, you have about 12.75" width maximum in the wheel house. With the usual recommendation of 1" clearance from the tire to the body and to the wheel tub, you can run a 10.75" tire if it's centered in the space. That will require the correct combination of rear axle width and wheel backspacing.

On the other hand, at this point you can move the wheel tubs inboard 2-1/4" per side. That would give you 15" in the wheel house, and you could run a 13" tire.
