How does no more Danchuk affect this event?

I think it is too early to know the answer to that. The new owner was an employee, so I wouldn't be surprised to see not much change. Either way, I'm sure the nationals will go on, with or without Danchuk

At the 2021 nationals, I hooked up with a nice group that had a couple of canopys set up in the shade of trees near the road that borders the campground The temperature was a lot cooler under those trees. I visited them in the same spot in 2022, and again it was cooler. I asked how they got that same location again, and they responded that they arrive very early from the campground. I'm suggesting that the tri-five.com canopys be set up under the shade of trees. If I recall correctly, (risky, LOL) The tri-five canopy was set up under some trees that year too, although not easily found.. In 2022 they were out in the open, and while the weather wasn't too bad, It could have been cooler. Just my thoughts

We aimed for the old spot in the trees, but were blocked out for the area where judging would occur. I‘m wondering if we may be better off back by the wood line. We will try to scout it out early this year.

If that is the plan, a lot of us will have less trouble finding the site since we'll know where to look.
