I have a 55 with 235 blue flame.

The dipstick was broken and welded and I had bough a new disptick, but this new dipstick is very diferent. Now I don´t now which is the correct level. The new dipstick is more low that the old, but I don´t know if old was correct repaired.

I put a pic with two dipsticks.

Could yo tell me the correct measure?

:) Ruben, do you know how many quarts of oil are in the pan?
If you know that it has say 5 quarts and that is supposed to be what it holds insert the dip stick and see where that level is on it and then mark (scribe) that mark on the dip stick as the full mark. Then you will know if it needs oil if it goes below that mark.
If you don't know how much oil is in the pan, you may have to drain it and then add back in a quart at a time until it has what it is suppose to have and then mark the dipstick when you have put in what the engine calls for.

Hope this helps?
