You should be able to one other thing your going to run into is the hole on the back of the block where on the road draft tube goes wont be be drilled on 1968 and later blocks. So to get proper crankcase ventilation your going to have address that.
the 265 Lt motor that USA1 refers to is from the late model cars is a reverse coolant flow and the distributor is driven off the front of the engine and early model heads arent compatible with it

For best results you need to bring fresh air into the crankcase and pull the vapors resulting from blowby and moisture condensation out. the original system used a tube that hung down into the airstream under the car and created a slight vacuum and the vented filter cap on the oil fill tune lets the clean air in.
In later years they did away with the road draft tube and used a pcv valve that allowed the engine to draw the vapors into the intake and then burn them along with the air+fuel mix to reduce emissions. You can get away with just runnning the vented cap but you may have sludge build up especially if you do a lot of short distance driving. One member here solved the problem by drilling a hole in flat area on back of the intake manifold between the distributor hole and the intake runners and used a rubber grommet to seal the pvc valve thus avoiding having to drill a hole in the valve covers.

Or you could just leave the heads on the monza engine they should have the pcv hole and
the oil separators in the valve covers and just use the 55 intake.
