I like the 041 & 186 castings best, all hp 350 heads from 69-81 have screw in studs & guideplates. Unfoetunatly I have seen 624 castings with studs junk. I run 202/160 humps off a 327 on my 360 on my 56. Accessory holes look ugly on 55-57 and center bolt vortecs are betond ugly.

Did any of the 350s come with high performance heads? What head do most people use
Huge subject. Your question at least for me simply doesn't give us enough information. What are your goals with the engine? What "look" (if any) are you attempting to create? Do you want no-nonsense performance? Aluminum or iron? What cam shaft, gear ratio, and other combo data do you have? IMO if you want the best heads, go with AFR's. But hey, these are serious heads and frankly they are not inexpensive.
