I've remove my inline 6 and 3 speed trans. My question is, the clutch assembly on the frame to the tranny. The 3 speed pivot ball is made with a metal extension that bolts to the trans. I have remove this from the bell crank assembly. When I install the 350 4 speed combo will the bell crank fit onto the pivot ball I have installed on the 350 block. Or is there other parts I have to buy to install correctly. I'm in the process of cleaning and paint the firewall now, and wanted to know before I install the motor and trans.

Are you using the stock V8 bellhousing? If so, you will need one of these:

No, I'm using a 621 bell housing, rear trans mount and side motor mounts.
