Other than the convertible frame / chasis being different for the 55 and 56, is the chasis / frame the same from a nomad wagon as that of the 2 and 4dr 55 and 56 sedan / hardtop cars? Thanks in advance..

Ken within the pages of this great website lies some grand information. Being new here, you may be unaware that there is a library that holds the answer to your question. Rather than make you look, below is a doc that shows all of the body mount locations. Also, should you purchase a frame other than what you need, some simple modifications can be done to make good use of it.

The wagon/Nomad frames are the same as the sedan frames. The hardtop frames simply have an extra body mount outside the main frame rail that can be removed when you use it under a wagon or sedan. The 4DHT frame is pretty unique so it won't fit the other cars.
