Has any one disassembled a clock and installed a quartz movement into it. I want to keep the originial face and hands and attempt to use a quartz movement . It would be battery operated and still be back lit.

yrs ago I sent mine out and had it done, still works like a champ, believe theres kits now that u can personally do your self ?
its not battery, its 12 volt, and yep has light too. off harness, and power is off harness too

Thats fine if you don't care that the center does not look stock. The East Coast Chevy clock looks exactly like the original Jim
