i have a friend that has a stock tank from his 57 wagon ( not a 9 pass) and i was going to purchase it for my 56 nomad. i was looking through ecklers books and i notce the 55 and 56 are the same tank but the 57 is a different part number. what is the difference between the tanks? can i put a 57 in my 56? he also has the filler tube and i notice that is a different part number as well

The difference is the location of the filler tube. I can;t tell you if it can be made to work, Ive never tried it.
