Does anyone have a working one of these or know where I can get one or a rebuild kit for it? It's a fuel pump for a 1956 Bel Air with a 235CID L6 motor. I've ordered about four so far and they've all sent me some weird one that doesn't fit at all. The numbers on the little metal tag is 4149 1612. I can only find a 4149 pump and it's so off.

Your local Napa store should stock them, its a standard I6 fuel pump, sometimes the orientation of the inlet/outlet needs to be adjusted to allow the pipes to fit the mounting position.

I've tried napa and online they have the one I need, but they sent me this one and it doesn't fit. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong?

The one you showed photo of (upside down) is rebuildable... most replacements are not...
