I have a tailgate that I'm thinking about re-working to sell. I know I can get a new skin. My question is should I re-work it before I put it up for sale or should I sell it "As Is"?
The skin is about $410 with shipping and I'm pretty sure nothing else is available so the lower inside would have to be rebuilt.
I plan on selling it on here and show pictures of the inside and out, media blasted and primed.
Opinions?

Good question...I like the idea of buying it like it is, and doing the work myself to make sure it is all done, BUT, there is also something to be said about buying an already primed and restored unit needing only paint, trim assembly, and to be installed.

Either way, I don't think you can lose :)

Now...if only you had a spare '56 Nomad to sell...

Yeah, I think you all are right. Thinks I'll take it to the Turkey Rod Run in November and sell it (hopefully). Thanks for the input guys!
