Thinking out loud here....I have thought that my next project may be Sedan Delivery and especially 56 but all the projects I have been looking are in really bad shape and even then the prices are sky high! Allmost in Nomad territory! Are good deals things from the past?

Considering the costs nowadays to build these cars I think the projects are really overpriced.

Mikko, I don't know how bad you would get stuck with import duties but with the price of parts you would be better off buying a car that someone else has already done. I have seen some really nice ones sell for less than the owner had invested.the down side would be it wasn't built just like you would do.

John, agree..buying a finished car is probably a cheaper option in the long run BUT like you said...it wouldn't be the same as my own vision :)

Hi Mikko,

I met bowtie-trifive member mod98(Pat) at the Cruise-In
in Parksville in June. After the Cruise-In was over he
invited me by his house to look at a '55 Sedan Delivery
that he's selling. There was no drive train in it,but he said
that he would put one in it if that's what any potential
buyer wanted. Also it is a project car.
He didn't have an asking price, and would only consider offers.
This is the only Delivery that I know of for sale around here.
As I said I only met Pat in June and haven't seen him since.
So wether the Delivery sold or not I couldn't say.
If interested send him a PM.

Hi Mikko,:shakehands:

From what I remember the body looked pretty good and was
primered. He told me much of what he'd already done to it.
Only problem is I don't remember much of what he told me.
Must be age.:sign0020:
I don't think he comes on Tri-Five that often;so if you
decide to PM him,and don't get a reply, let me know and
I'll phone him.We exchanged phone numbers when we met
in June.I know his number's around the house somewhere.:)
