56 sedan headliner bow pockets

Mine are about 2 inches longer than the rods. Is this normal so I just have to trim to fit? First time doing one thanks.

I'm not understanding the problem. :redface: The rods are different lengths and should fit in the holes in their respective place on the roof. ???

Duh!! Now I get it. :) I think you have to slit the pockets to the length of the rods but not sure about a sedan. Terry (Chevyman57) is the upholstery guy. He is probably at the swap meet getting wet right now. You might PM him so he'll get your message when he gets back. http://www.bttrimshop.com/contact.htm
