Hi, on the 57 (and probably 55 & 56) does the door garnish molding go to the very back edge of the door? Mine stops about 5/16 of an inch short. This is the exterior molding on the top of the door where your arm would rest if you had your window down and arm resting on top of door. Thanks for your input! Shane

Just went out and looked. On my Bel Air 2dr sedan the trim is even with the back side of the door and has about 1/16" of the door showing in the front.

door garnish

Thanks Terry, I think my door must have aftermarket skins as the molding stops short of the back edge if I were to screw it into the holes on the door. Thanks again for your response
