If anyone has seen the "Orange Krate" then you know what inspired my build. I started a few months ago and am getting close to getting it to AVS Fab for the roll cage. My hope is to have a show worthy car that runs in the 10s. Please don't hate but I'm running a blown injected 392 backed by a Lenco. Should be a blast.

Diggin’ the way you removed the firewall mounts , phenomenal craftsmanship

And there’s no hating on the old Chrysler iron the lenco makes up for it

beautiful build! Glad you posted that picture of the Orang '55, as I was trying to figure out how the "Orange Crate" '32 inspired your build?

The real, original Orange Crate:

Loving this build! Keep the progress pics coming. TOTALLY AWSOME.

Question: In fear of showing my stupidity, I see the that the body is mounted to the frame without cushions, the old cushion mounts removed. Does mounting the body in this manner play havoc with gaps when then can is under load - the frame flexing, twisting and such?

Thanks Nick! I started 35 years ago as a Ford guy, graduated to Chevrolet and now I have Been Moparified or better yet, Hemified... lol. Here is my build I finished in 16, it's a 29 Dodge Brothers coupe.
