Getting ready to put the heater core in my '57. Is there a "top" and "bottom" to the core? Nothing on the core itself indicates top or bottom and it seems to fit the same either way I put it in. My guess is it doesn't matter, but would like to confirm that with someone who knows. Thanks.

Roger....Looked at the Assembly Manual.....Doesn't look like it makes any difference to me :confused0006: See link: http://www.trifive.com/garage/57 Chevy Assembly Manual/101-1.gif
Dave...thanks for the input. I too looked at the assembly manual. Seems to me that the core is nothing but a device for taking water in one end and putting it out the other end. As long as it fits either way, seems like there would be no need for a "top" and "bottom". That was my thinking, but...how many times have I put something together wrong before...let me see....:)
