Working on a 57 four door sedan with my son. The rear deck was cut up pretty badly for speakers back in the day. Would like to make the repair with real rear deck speaker holes. Anyone have a junk 57 parts car with the driver side rear deck speaker holes intact and original, and be willing to cut that part of the rear deck out? Would be looking for at least one, ideally two.

Too bad Hoffert's Used Auto Parts in Berks County went out of business and everything remaining was scrapped. Man, the stuff they had in there! Last time I was there was 2004 and soon after, the original owner died and then everything was sold. That's the first place I checked everytime I needed an original panel cut.

Mine was Great Valley Auto Salvage in Malvern, Pa. Now just a big empty lot waiting to be developed. Not one single salvage yard left around these parts. Closest is the U pull-it joint up your neck of the woods, if they are still in b7siness. Nothing old mind you, but was still a walk around yard just the same.

There is/was A-Z U Pull It in Shoemakersville and another UPull It near New Ringgold, but I haven't been to those places in about 20years. Don't know if they still exist, but like you said - almost nothing old. At Hoffert's, almost everything was old. Ah, the days gone by...
