I was hoping to find some guidance on the best option for origianl style dual exhaust for my 57 2 door post car. It's a 283 2 bbl car but it came originally with dual exhaust. The correct brackets are there along with the fuel and brake lines are located on the outside of the frame. It's a matching numbers car and I'm trying to be very particular on wanting everything as original as I can make it. Any suggestions on where to find an original style complete exhaust or if there's such a thing as a spec sheet that I could take to a local exhaust shop and have it made? Thank you in advance for any and all guidance!

I just spoke with Eric at Gradner's exhaust and he's very serious about his work. He was extremely intersted in trying to help with producing exactly what I'm looking for which is a duplicate original exhaust for my car. The problem is I don't have all of the original pieces to pattern by. If there is anyone that can point me or him in the direction of pictures, part numbers, diagrams, old original exhaust that can be used as patterns I would greatly appreciate. I finally have my motor and transmission setting in my newly completed frame. It's looking great but now I' m ready for the next piece. Thank you for ANY help I can get!

I've got a nice dual system from Shafers – all original. They are available in stainless as well. (Mine is a restore project, so wanted it all correct.)
