I've been hauling some cars to the crusher/scrap yard.$10.00 a hundred pounds right now.
So,I was cruising down the interstat doing about 65,hauling a Ford Escort, when the left front tire on my trailer exploded!Rubber went everywhere. The lady riding my A$$ finally backed off!
I was in a construction zone with no where to pull over, about a mile from my exit,so I had to keep going @ 40 mph.Tire still coming apart, dumb woman still too close and obviously stupid!Heavy traffic too.
Finally get to my exit and pull over.Bent my 4-way trying to get the lugs loose. No luck!
So,I head on down to the first place that does tires.VERY nice people! They changed the tire for me for-$5.00 whole dollars!i told them the car was going to meet it's maker, and one guy asked if he could have the old tag on it.I said sure, but why?Seems a restaurant in town gives a free meal when you bring in an old car tag!
Then they ask if I have any more cars and I said sure, how many do you want?
Anyway,they want a Honda Civic(they're tuners)and I have one.
So,today I got rid of a Ford and sold a Honda!
Total of $520.00!
And the tire that blew?Date coded March of 2007.Maybe I ran over something.
Tommorrow,I have another Escort to haul-Maybe I'll get lucky like today(minus the blow-out)!

Other than the stress of a blown tire, you made out great, certainly an exciting day:)
