I finally got around to rebuilding the lights I got for father's day. I put new sockets in them then wired them into the other lights I have...but these are special....they came from the Packard Car Company plant in Detroit. The plant has been abandoned for years and one of my son's and his friends have on ocassion gone down there exploring...he came home with these on his last trek down there.

Cant beat that good look & they do the job, you can always replace the incandescent globes with compact fluorescent globes :tu

I bought two lights similar to yours from a guy on oldgas.com. I thought they were old Texaco gas station lights. I had them outside my station back in the '70's. I haven't thought about using them over a workbench, should consider that. I kick myself for not buying all 4, now they are gone. Yours look great.
