I just purchased and cut down a level, to fit the lip of the tire, A-Frame side bolts are loose, with the weight of the on the ground, can you shim to level with vehicle on ground or do you need to jack it up to get the shims in.

You should be able to pry the cross shaft in, to get shims in, but you may not need any to get camber. Tighten the nuts to check it.

Thanks Don I am just trying to get it for alignment, I kinda bit off a lot with New Rack and Pinion, Front Disc Brakes, Power Master new wheel cylinders in the rear, and Vintage Air. replaced it all except tie rod ends which I am going to let the alignment shop replace if needed.
Got to be at back to the fifties car show, 2nd largest in the US, St Paul Minn
