YOU ARE TOTALLY, COMPLETELY, EXACTLY, 100% CORRECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!IMHO, I think they've all tried to find the perfect aerodynamic design in order to improve gas mileage. Once you find the perfect shape, the only thing you can change are the headlights and taillights. 50s designs were out to dazzle the public. Today we have ho hum.

DANG, a 57 Olds with a J2------------------------------------I bet not many people here even know what the J2 was.
Oh ya, does anyone know that GM built a 57 Olds 2dr post with Rochester fuel injection? YEP, Ken Kayser has pictures in his book, Vol 3.
