Looking at your '63 Bob, kind of rekindled an interest in one. When I was 17, I had a '63 Impala convertible. Loved that car. Thought a lot about it today and went on line and took a look. Saw a few 409/425 (that engine is kind of a must) 2d ht's that looked quite nice for the money. I can be very spontaneous, so sometimes I never know what I might do. I really don't want another car, but if the right one came along, you never know. Speaking of the right one, many years ago, I think it was on ebay, a '63 Impala convertible, non SS, 409/340, automatic, a/c, white body, black top, red interior, was for sale at I believe $32,000.00. I bit much for me at that time and besides, I had no place to put it. Regardless of what the price might be now, if that car was offered for sale again, it would be in my garage as we talk. I think the seller was from California. That car matched the one I had except for the drivetrain. Seems like everytime I reminisce about a car, it cost me a small fortune lol, Carmine.
there is a 409 4Dr Ht but no power train Name plates only. Wants two grand. Has th hole on the dash for the tach. Want pics?

I worked for my uncle who had a string of candy vending machine around our small town. Best part of the job was the delivery station wagon. A 63 bel air 327 with a 3 speed, kind of an aquamarine color. That thing was fun. I'd be real happy to have matching 63 wagon today, it wouldn't matter if it had any Hersey's, Snicker, Paydays or not

A '63 wagon got past me. It was a wagon and I didn't bother to open the hood. I found out it has a 327 with double humps. The guy that bought it also bought a '66 Chevy SS with a tilt steering wheel. I passed on the '66 because I tought it had too much rust and a good size dent in midsection...not bad just noticeable. I am now trying to buy the 327 from the guy. I'm sure it also has a Posi rear end which I also want.
Talk about wagons, this guy also has a most beautiful and cherry '65 Catalina Safari Wagon...what a beast. He's working up a price for me.

While it's stepping outside of our Chevy loyalty zone I've seen some Pontiac wagons that cause me to lust after one. Especially a well-dressed hog of a wagon, but I digress so no more.

If I show you pics of this wagon it'd be like Mae West inviting you to come and see her sometime, like Delilah's Samson, like Eve showing you her apple...It's sinful! I'll get some pics tomorrow and send you into a state of perdition.

I’m beating on the guy for a price, but luck yet. Bob

LeMans is off for final body work and some floor patching and preliminary paint test. Chrome and stainless off to D & R in LA.
