Besides the Convertibles being different, are ALL other Tri-5 Chassis the same?

Can they be swapped out / exchanged from model year to model year?

I'm looking for another frame / chassis to build while the body of my
'57 - 150 wagon is being worked on.

Any suggestions, ideas or hints as to doing this (based on past experience) is appreciated.

BTW - I want to use a stock / oem frame not an aftermarket Morrison or others.

Thank You All!!

To answer your question. 55-56 frames are pretty much the same. Hardtops have one more body mount per side than sedans 57 frames are bobbed off on the front and the bolt holes for the bumpers are different.

I have a bare 57 wagon frame here for 200 dollars (vienna Mo) not sure where drag city is.

Yes, as mentioned the 57 frame is different mostly in the front bumper horns but there are a few other subtle differences. Also, there are two-piece frames and seamless frames in every model and model year. Either type will work.

trifive chassis

In the 80's I put a '56 wagon frame under my '55 wagon body. The only thing I ran into that was different was the rear spring shackles. The '56 and '57 shackles are the same.
