no the rears are different they have corner ash trays built in to them on the front side pad to the back. the fronts are more like a horse shoe or u shape the backs are solid. don't think they make repo's for the two door sedan yet you will have to find originals.

Thanks for your replies. I was at a car show the other night and someone had an original 55 chevy the same model as mine and I was able to see what the rear armrests look like. With everyone putting in updated interiors you would think that there would be a few of these around for sale.

You can find them. Just be expecting to pat around 90.00 a pair for them in used condition, needing recovering. That is the price i have been seeing them at anyway.

Terry is right, I was offered $100.00 for my pair for my 57 whenever I want to sell them.

and to think I was at a swap meet last week-end. I picked up two pair, looked at them (no cracks), asked the price, set them back down and walked off! 1 pair was $35. the other $40.

Will you thought those were a steal. I stole a pair last summer at a swap meet. Picked them up looked good, acted disinterested and went to walk off. The guy said you need those. I asked how much and he said 5.00, couldn`t get the billfold out fast enough. I plan to use them on the 57.
