Is there a way to save the back glass weatherstrip. i've removed a lot glass but had to cut the weatherstrip to get the glass out.i have a newer strip in there now realy dont wanit to cut it.i have a new back glass and want to install it.also do you need any kind sealer

If the rubber is soft and pliable you should be able to get it out together with the glass. What was used to seal it may cause you problems. Good luck.

well i cany remember if i put any sealer on it when i did i the last time it wes over twenty years ago.just wondering if i could save the whertherstrip

At 20 years old, it's doubtful it will be any good even if you could get it out in one piece.

If it is 20yrs old i`d want ot replace it any way since it is probably hard just due to age, unless it has been kept in a climate controlled room.
