I will probably do that tomorrow. The front clip has to come off again so I can touch up some paint, scuff with 400, and reclear. I ordered more clear and a new LVLP gun to see if I can stop the orange peel. I’ve been spraying it too viscous, needs more reducer.

Oh my goodness…. fits so well! Why didn't you all tell me earlier to get a properly fitting Cold Case radiator instead of cheap EBay knockoffs?

Oh wait…. you did.

Will see. I have to undo and realign the whole front clip. It’s all sorts of caddywhumpus.

This photo was midway through, but new alternator bracket is in, electric temp gauge sending unit, hoses, and recovery tank. I cranked it over to make sure everything was aligned, and we are good to go.

And...they have the visually appealing formed upper tank!
What's your upper hose part #, please - ?
Dayco 70344. You need a 45 degree/45 degree water neck to fit correctly. I picked up the more expensive Mr Gasket version of this at OReillys, I wanted to get it done today and not wait. But same part.

New stuff all mounted, now to move the sheet metal around, fix the hood orange, and wet sand. I need to do a bunch of touch up.

Ok, tools laid out to start working on the prang. I hope to get it worked out without any paint damage.

It was too damaged to save the paint, I just tapped it in, sanded the paint off, and applied the little dab of filler. Since I have to repaint the hood anyway, it doesn’t bug me.

Way better temper control then I have, lol!
I have my grandfathers temper. It’s a slow burn. It takes a lot. But once it going, it’s an inferno. I’ve had to force myself into being calm though, heart problems. I’m trying to make it to 65. Lol!

So, take note of this day in history!! It’s a very special one! For once in my life, my Mark I Calibrated Analog Eyeball measured something correctly! I put the rear bumper center on and the exhaust tips fit exactly where I wanted them! About 1.5” below and 1.5 inches past the bumper bottom edge. I feel faint…. Lol!

Been working in workshop getting it ready for the cold snap, but working on Bertha now. New transmission fluid lines ready to go in, from InlineTube. I ordered them when I was running the V8 support and radiator, now that it’s in the 6cyl position, I made some hardline adapters. Just give me another 4 inches to compensate for the move.
