One of the biggest issues I encountered putting a 396 in my 55 was the lower radiator hose. This site and others were no help. I ended up cutting a 67 Camaro 396 hose in half and coupling it back together.

Not the same 69 Camaro LWP the 67 is SWP.

At the end of he day what works for one may not work for all, the choice of radiators come in to play.
