I disconnected the rear brakes today and plugged off the block. Filled the master cylinder and couldn't get it to pump up at all. I was thinking I would at least get some brakes, but i have nothing. Do I just need to bleed them?? I just need enough brakes to get the car into my driveway where I am up dating to a Camaro dual MC.
Assuming your hand (emergency) brake works, you can use it to stop the car when you pull the car onto your driveway to do the conversion.

Yes, when the line broke, it probably drained all the brake fluid out of the main line going to both the front and rear wheels so you are just compressing air. bleeding the front brakes will probably make them work again. (assuming your master cylinder is functioning)
