I don't know if y'all has seen this, but I will post it in the chance that you haven't.

Whilst looking for classic Chevy pieces and parts I stumbled upon a forum post that featured a very lucky guy who scored a brand new 1956 Chevy short block complete with a can of GM breakin oil in the crate.

Apparently, a guy purchased 3 short block assemblies from a chevy dealer in 1971, sold two right off the bat,
and kept this one in his garage until now.

Gees, new 54 year old ring technology. Just what I'd spend my money on. That block will have to come apart. rings probably rusted solid to bores. wonder if it can even be saved without bore'n it to283 bore size. :anim_25::anim_25:
