Started off as a 4dr car, used the 4dr doors and welded in the quarters. Did not like the way it turned out so I am changing the entire quarter panels now. The car had rust in the usual places in the floor. I tried patching them and did not like how it turned out so I cut it out also. So now I have a mess, I cut the firewall out, front part of the floorboard and have the drivers side quarter panel completely off. I want the car to be a 60’s style drag car. I am debating on getting an entire floorboard with braces as well as a new firewall, or just doing a sheet metal firewall and floorboard.

We know what you have started is a really big job BUT every little thing you do gets a little closer to the end.I had a friend who was a dairy farmer that worked several hundred acres. He told me his plan was to do something on his frame off 55 every day,no matter how small a job. There is also a saying of eating an elephant ONE bite at a time soon there is no elephant left! You keep at it no matter how bad you think it is. Do not be afraid to ask questions about measurements or just how to go about some project.
