I would use a 300 hp 327 intake it is the narrow Carter pattern, but has large AFB bores. THere is also the 66 275 hp it has a Holley pattern. I have picked up one of each recently at swap meets reasonable. Adaptors are vacume leaks sooner or later, usually sooner. Both therse intakes have coorrect locals for temp gauge & oil fill.
Carb adapter Question
Anyone have any luck finding a adapter to fit a edelbrock square bore on an 57 original 4dbbl intake?Also what is the measurement of the throttle plate holes in the intake?

If you want an adaptor I believe Mr Gasket can fix you up.
