Here is one more

I just finished the floor in my 1957 Chevy Bel Air Hardtop and I want to thank all the guys who have given advice on this board. The metal in the floor of the car was repaired with over 50 holes in the floor and the trunk. The tunnel around the floor shift was rebuilt. Then the floor was wire brushed with an angle grinder and repainted with black lacquer, a thin plywood board was added to the back of the rear seat. After that, I used up a package of Noico sound deadener and then covered the entire floor and side panels with car insulation, a new plush carpet from Stockinteriors will top it off. The floor insulation was part of a larger project where the car was rewired with an AAW Classic update kit and the dash bezel and script replaced. I gleaned a ton of advice by reading the posts on Trifive. Thanks again to all of you!
