Decided to change the colour of my 57 roof, the car has been all one colour for years now....so how does white look ???

No right or wrongs here. Next change might be to drop the cragars and put the stock caps on. That nice a stock looking car in those 2 tone colors would be KILLER? Beautufyl ride.. Lloyd

Definitely gives it a different look with the white roof. I struggled with myself for months on whether to go back with a white roof like it had when i bought mine or not. In the end i decided the white top made it look like an old mans ride. But then again maybe i resemble that thought too. The wide whites are a personal choice........one i don`t like myself. But it is your 57 we are talking about.

Terry we were typing at the same time and I totally agree. But white top, ww tires and stock caps AND THAT BEAUTIFUL CUSTOM COLOR take the years off the "old man" for me. Lloyd

when i painted ny 57 several friends said make the top white i said no i have always preferred solid colors on 57s but thats just me so if you like the change then thats what counts. your car looks good either way honestly. rick

Must say both look nice but I lean toward the solid color. If I scratch up the coin to paint mine, it will be solid again.

I have a soft for red and white '57 Bel Air's. I had one when i was drafted. I'm not sure about the white walls. I prefer black wall's on Cragers.
