I used my stock chassis and built on it from there- disc brakes, Heidt's tubular A-arms, dropped spindles adjustable coil over shocks. I did a triangulated 4 bar 9" rear, but not sure what you are trying to do.
I'm stuck between doing what you did or buying a complete chassis. I took the front fenders and bumper off and found the front had been in an accident and not repaired too professionally... but ok? Hopeful to ding a decent deal on a full rolling chassis.
