The steering wheel on this column was so rusted that I had to cut the steering wheel off after ruining my wheel puller and beatin on it w/ a hammer.
I set the column on the concrete while cutting the steering wheel off and forced the "collapsible" shaft up into the mast jacket.Now I cannot pull it back out.I've pulled & pulled and cant get it to move.I've drown it in oil & PB blaster w/no joy.
Any suggestions??

The only shafts I've delt with are the ones between the column and steering box...
If they get collapsed you're supposed to toss them and get a new one...
They can be a bear to pull back out too...
