A question about a water bypass on my carbureted motor. What I want to do is flow more coolant through the heads while the t-stat is closed at startup and during the times it is closed during heat management.

I have an Air Gap manifold with plugs on all for corners. Edelbrock makes a kit that plumbs the coolant from front crossover to the back crossover. Does this make sense to do, or just go from my water pump to one of the front plugs?

What direction does the coolant flow within the motor with the heads in mind?
